My dedication to helping my clients achieve their housing goals also extends beyond traditional home buying. I volunteer with Project Mercy, a charitable organization with a goal of improving the basic living standards and quality of life for impoverished families who live in conditions precarious to their health in the area of the Colonias east of Tijuana, Mexico. As a project leader I and 240 other volunteers armed with only their cell phones raised 70,000 plus all building materials donated by local businesses in only 5 hours. The following day I and the team of volunteers traveled to the building site and poured the foundations where new homes would be built for several of the families in need. In addition to this I also support The Red Cross, Susan G Komen for the cure, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
